Vocalist David Jaynes founded Back N Black in 2007 after touring internationally with the AC/DC tribute Hells Bells named by Rolling Stone Magazine as "The Greatest Tribute Band on The Planet" and the world-renowned Black Jacket Symphony.

Vocalist David Jaynes has been on the national music platform for over three decades. From Birmingham, he is one of the few "Brian Johnson" sound-a-likes in the nation. David is a sought after vocalist and as mentioned, has been involved with some of the USA's top AC/DC recreations including a strong look from AC/DC's management when Brian semi-tired. Close your eyes when David is singing because you will think Brian is in the room!
ZACH NELSON

Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, guitarist Zach Nelson has been on the nationally-touring tribute scene now for over ten years. His high-energy performances and dedication to the recreation of the performers he imitates is what sets Zach apart as a a top-tier tribute musician. During a Back N Black show, Zach will run, jump, and duckwalk his way into your AC/DC-loving hearts.

All the way from Ontario, Canada, rhythm guitarist and back-up vocalist Chris Wood has been blazing a trail on the AC/DC tribute scene for over three decades. His steady, powerful right-hand precisely replicates the chunky rhythms that made AC/DC a rock n' roll powerhouse!
Chris's gear expertise and keen ears for guitar tones, ensures that Back N Black brings you the true sounds of AC/DC.
BOB COWLES
"Cliff"
Bassist and vocalist Bob Cowles has been an Atlanta icon in the music industry for the last few decades. He and David formed BNB with the vision of recreating the actual live show of AC/DC back before there was a proliferation of tribute bands and separating out the big difference between a tribute band and a cover band. Bob provides the backbone of the band with that low-end groove locked into Phil's bass drum and Malc's rhythm guitar!

Drummer Renton Reese provides the deep “Phil Rudd” groove that is the heartbeat of AC/DC. He has been on the Alabama and Georgia scene for over three decades as an accomplished session musician and teacher. From the cannons to the bells to the thunder, Renton delivers!
